Samuel is almost four months old. He’s just started to gurgle and coo and can bring his hands and toys to his mouth. Samuel enjoys tummy time and his foster carer says he does a huge smile whenever he manages to roll over!

Samuel is described by his current foster carer as a happy baby who is easy to settle. He’s currently in a busy foster home and enjoys interacting with the other children.
Samuel’s birth mum has significant mental health needs. He was removed from her care shortly after her birth and he has been in a foster placement since.
Samuel’s birth mum has already had a child removed due to concerns around her being able to meet their needs, and this child is living with their maternal grandmother. The grandmother feels she is now too old to have a baby in her care but would like to maintain a relationship with Samuel as he gets older.
We are looking for adopters to provide Samuel with a foster care placement while the courts finalise Samuel’s adoption placement order. These foster carers can then become his legal adopters.
We would want these adopters to help maintain a relationship with Samuel’s maternal grandmother and his older brother.
*** Please note – this is an example profile based on some of the children we are currently family finding for and is not a real child waiting to be adopted. ***
